As a Behavioral Treatment Technician, you will begin with a comprehensive paid training program to prepare and equip you to serve as the child's play partner and deliver therapy by applying strategies and methods that target goals from the child's treatment program.

Your training program will last approximately two (2) weeks and include a combination of:

  • Online Training Modules
  • Independent Readings
  • Observation Sessions
  • Field Training Sessions

What you will get to do as a Behavioral Treatment Technician with FamilyPath:

  • Be part of dynamic team supporting 2 or more children in reaching their treatment goals
  • Provide direct support to children and families in 1:1 and group settings in the family’s home
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
  • Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client’s individualized treatment program
  • Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress
  • Assist in preparing play materials
  • Collaborate with parents/caregivers, outside professionals and co-workers

Basic & Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 25 pounds
  • Able to assume a variety of postures (kneeling, sitting or standing) for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection
  • Be physically present at the assigned job location
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites


  • Minimum of 18 years’ old
  • Pass a Criminal Background Check
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable Transportation


  • Required: None
  • Preferred: Implementing Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech or Occupational Therapy in working with children ages birth to 6 years old in a 1:1 setting


  • Required: High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, or related field.
